Classes

We offer a variety of dance styles and classes for students aged three and up. You can view our full class list here.

Our Mummy and Me classes start from the age of 2. Students wishing to attend classes on their own must be aged three and up.

Our adult classes have no age limit! The rest of our classes operate for students aged between four and eighteen.

Absolutely! Belmont Dance Centre is an all-inclusive, nurturing dance school for children of all genders, ages and abilities. If your child has special needs and you’d like to learn more about how we can cater to them, contact us here.

RAD stands for Royal Academy of Dance. RAD classes involve students undertaking exams that follow the RAD syllabus.

No! Exams are only for students who may wish to pursue a future career in dance. Otherwise, we offer a range of classes for students who simply want to have fun and exercise.

This is up to the student and their family. We love seeing everyone perform but it’s completely up to you!

Uniforms & fees

Yes, students are required to wear a uniform.

You can purchase the uniform at our studio or via the payment portal here.

  • 30-minute lesson $10.00/week
  • 45-minute lesson $13.00/week
  • 1 hour lesson $15.00/week
  • 1 1/4Hours $18.00/week
  • Mummy & Me classes: $12.00/week

Private Lessons (for eisteddfod and exam work)

  • 30-minute lesson $35.00/week
  • 30-minute lesson (shared) $17.50 each/week
  • 45-minute lesson $55.00/per week
  • 1 hour lesson $70.00/week

Attend as many classes of any style per week! (not including privates)

  • Junior School $70.00/week
  • Senior School $85.00/week

Shortly, we will be moving to an online payment portal, where you can pay any lesson fees via a link.

Yes! We accept Service NSW Active and Creative Kids Vouchers. Find out how to redeem your vouchers here.

Safety

We currently have numerous guidelines regarding COVID-19 in place. These include:

  • No parents or unauthorised visitors are allowed into the studio (excluding Mummy & Me parents)
  • Service NSW QR code check-in is required for any visitors
  • Hand sanitiser is available in all studios

As a dance school, we fall under the NSW health and safety guidelines for indoor recreation, yoga, pilates and dance studios, martial arts training facilities. We regularly check these guidelines for any changes which may affect our studio. You can read the guidelines here.

Yes! All of our teachers who over the age of 18 are required to have a Working with Children Check.
